Abstract

Abstract: The change in learning methods from face-to-face on campus to distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic has forced students to face new challenges. Academic stress is one of the conditions that students can experience during the COVID-19 pandemic due to the changes that occur. Academic stress is a combination of academic related demands that exceed the resources available to the individual. If academic stress occurs in students, there are various negative impacts such as poor sleep quality, difficulty concentrating, and anxiety. The purpose of this service is to provide psychoeducation to anticipate academic stress through online seminars to increase knowledge about academic stress, its causes, impacts, how to manage and prevent it. The online seminar is held with the Zoom meeting media. Participants from psychoeducation are active students who undergo distance learning. The results of the process of implementing community service activities have an impact on increasing participants' knowledge about academic stress and how to prevent and manage it. This shows that it is important to provide education to students.
